Meet Our Chiropractors

Dr. Gregory P. Krumholz

Dr. Krumholz opened the doors to Total Health Chiropractic over 20 years ago after graduating from New York Chiropractic College and deciding to return back to his hometown of Central Islip. His approach to chiropractic involves taking the whole body into consideration when understanding his patients' conditions as well as the innate ability the body has to heal itself. He strives to help patients reach total health in order for their body to have the ability to overcome disease and dysfunction. He does this by educating his patients and giving them the tools to take control of their health.

Dr. Krumholz is certified in the Cox Flexion and Distraction technique. He incorporates many soft tissue, physiotherapy techniques and nutritional recommendations within his treatments.

In addition to working as a chiropractor, Dr. Krumholz is a devoted husband and father of two. He proudly served 30 years in the U.S. Navy. Outside of the office, Dr. Krumholz enjoys spending his time at the gym, golfing, or spending time with his family and grandson.

Dr. Emely A. Flores

Growing up in Central Islip and working for Dr. Krumholz as a receptionist, Dr. Flores decided to become a chiropractor after seeing how much of an impact the profession had on patients' lives. She graduated from St. Joseph's College where she also played soccer and went on to pursue her Doctorate at New York Chiropractic College. She worked as an intern during her clinical year at Levittown Health Center where she treated a wide range of conditions.

Similar to Dr. Krumholz's approach, Dr. Flores takes into consideration all aspects of the individual (biological, social and environmental) when understanding their condition. Her treatment style encourages patients to take an active role in their treatment plan and feel empowered to take control of their health. She aims to educate patients and give them the knowledge they need about their bodies to keep them doing the things they love.

Dr. Flores is trained in cupping therapy and is certified in ConnectX therapy and Sports Science & Human Performance.  She incorporates soft tissue therapies, physiotherapy techniques and active care within her treatments.

When she is not in the office, she likes to spend time with her cats and dog, explore new places, and staying active.
